The annual Silver Springs Blues Festival attracts local blues musicians and their fans for a series of concerts, street dances and vendors. Just southeast of the city is the one-square-mile City of Rocks State Park. Here, rock formations that were created by a volcanic eruption reach elevations of 5,200 ft (1586 m).
